Ropeways Transit Rwanda Limited (RTRL) is a pan-African infrastructure company dedicated to transforming how African cities move. Founded in 2020, we were established with a simple yet ambitious vision: to introduce clean, modern, and inclusive cable car transit systems across Africa’s rapidly growing cities.
Our Role in Rwanda’s Development
The Kigali Urban Cable Car is aligned with Rwanda’s Vision 2050 and National Strategy for Transformation (NST2), which prioritize sustainable infrastructure, smart city development, and inclusive growth. By leading this project, RTRL is helping Rwanda:
